Dinner, Entertainment & Auction
Chestnut Street Baptist Church, Camden
Saturday, October 8, 2016 @ 6:00pm
This “Big Event” will include delicious “Yankee Pot Roast” and “Veggie” Dinners with Blueberry Cobbler and Apple Crisp for dessert. Rosey Gerry (see below) will provide entertainment (singing, guitar, banjo), stories, comedy, and a live auction. There will also be a silent auction, games and a “Maine Costume/Outfit Show”. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a “Mainer” (hunter, lobsterman, lumberjack, hiker, gardener, golfer, military, skier, sports fan, fisherman…)!
Rosey Gerry was born in Camden and graduated from Camden Rockport High School in 1967. He lived in Lincolnville during his childhood and resides there today. He served in the U.S. Air Force and still serves Mid Coast Maine in many ways. Rosey is currently re-running for Lincolnville Selectman. He owns Rosey’s Restoration Antique Autos and he is also a member of two bands: Wayfaring Strangers and Rt. 17 Ramblers. We are honored to have a “native Mainer” perform at our “Mainly Maine Steeple Fund Raiser”!
Don’t forget… the purpose of this event is to raise money for the restoration of our town’s steeple/clock, which serves our community like a lighthouse does for ships!
Suggested Donation is $10 for Adults (13+); $6 Children (5-12); Free (1-4)
