Preschool – Senior High Sunday School

No one will have more influence on your child than you! We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Children and youth are valuable members and the future of the church family. We’re passionate about partnering with families to raise kids who love and trust Jesus.

Our Sunday school classes meet each week and is the place where your children will be safe, have fun and learn about Jesus on their level!

All of our childcare and youth workers have been trained and have undergone background checks to ensure the safety of your child in accordance with our Church Protection and Policy Training (CPP).

Parent Gathering Classes (Offered During Sunday School Hour)

We believe that the role of the church is to actively encourage, equip, and support parents in their responsibility to disciple their own children into age-appropriate Gospel understanding and Jesus following. As such, we are seeking to run three or four Parent Gatherings a year where we will provide parents resources, training, and encouragement as you seek to disciple you own children. Resources might include:

·   New City Catechism  www.truthforlife.org/store/products/books-and-booklets/new-city-catechism-1/
·   New City Catechism devotional  www.truthforlife.org/store/products/books-and-booklets/the-new-city-catechism-devotional/
·   New City Catechism app (iPhone or Android): http://newcitycatechism.com/
·   Bible Reading With Your Kids, Jon Nielson www.matthiasmedia.com/bible-reading-with-your-kids
·   One to One Bible Reading, David Helm http://www.matthiasmedia.com/one-to-one-bible-reading

At these gatherings we also want to make parents aware of the ministries our church family provides for your children (Nursery, Sunday School, etc.), the expectations around those ministries (ages, student registrations, drop-off and pick-up, volunteering, etc.), and the opportunities available at CSBC for your own personal involvement and growth.

Our next Parent Gathering will be scheduled soon so keep an eye on our church calendar here on the website and please feel free to contact us with any questions. RSVP or send questions to akohlstrom@gmail.com.
