Through singing, games, activities, arts, and crafts we hope to cultivate and encourage spiritual growth in your children. All childcare workers have been trained and have undergone background checks to ensure the safety of your child in accordance with our Church Protection and Policy Training (CPP).

Our goal is to inspire, encourage, and equip you as a parent to be that spiritual leader in your child’s life, knowing if we work together that bond will be even greater. We hope you enjoy our services knowing your child is in a safe environment with qualified, consistent, and background-checked small group leaders and volunteers. Kids will be cared for by committed leaders, experience exciting services, and interact with age-appropriate lessons. Your child will walk away knowing how to love God, love others and how to hear the voice of God.

We have a well-staffed, clean, safe, and fun nursery space for your children aged birth through preschool.

As a parent, if you drop off your children somewhere you want to be certain they will be well cared for. So it is that all adults who work with children at CSBC have been through our CPP (Church Protection Policy) training and screened – including a criminal background check. The reason we take such precautions is clearly stated in our CPP Policy:

Chestnut Street Baptist Church desires to be a safe place for all children and adults who attend any activity… Although no organization or individual can assure complete protection, this Church Protection Policy reflects Chestnut Street Baptist Church’s commitment to help protect children from harm… For the safety and protection of our children and workers, all people who participate in church-sponsored activities with children are required to comply with the guidelines provided in this policy.

So know that, like you, most of us are parents who are just as concerned for the safety and well-being of children involved in our ministries. Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your children.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14
